Steps to be taken by practices

This will require higher level admin rights in EMIS Web.

You will need to import searches and add templates in Accurx (steps written below).

*Important* You will need admin access to install the software for automation. You may already have this within practice or you will need to contact your local IT team.

Step 1: Check hardware guide:

  1. Click on the file explorer icon (as below).
  2. Verify you have at least 20GB available space in "Windows (C:)" (see image below) 
  3. Right click on “This PC” and click “Properties”.  
  4. You should see a PC settings page open up, please confirm your specs meet the hardware requirements as below.

Hardware Requirements
Any bot workstations that you want to run the processes should have below minimum hardware specifications.

Processor: i5 or above.
Installed RAM: 8GB or higher.

Step 2: Install cockpit personal software through admin access:

  1. Click here to download the software
  2. Once downloaded right click and extract the file.  
  3. Open the unzipped folder name "TruBot Cockpit Personal 4.9.0.13"
  4. Double click again on the folder. 
  5. Right click on TruBotCockpitPersonalSetup file.
  6. Click Run as administrator (ensure you have admin access beforehand or may need to contact your local IT to retrieve credentials). 
  7. Complete the process of installation.

Step 3: EMIS account requirements: 

Please create a separate EMIS account for the bot to use with the follow requirements: 

  1. Job Role: Manager 
  2. User Role: Practice Manager 
  3. Global access to lab reports module (if you want lab reports product) 
  4. Make sure you tick Accurx "Edit Users" and "Login Access" for the EMIS user in EMAS Manager > Partner API 

Step 4: Accurx account requirements:

Please create a separate Accurx account with a new NHS Mail account. e.g. gpautomate.practicename@nhs.net 

Use this to create a Accurx account and set a password.
